HikerKit Privacy Policy
HikerKit is a hiking gear planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
1. Information You Provide
HikerKit lets you create and manage:
- Gear items, including name, category, brand, weight, quantity, price, notes, and optional photos
- Trip plans, including trip name, date, duration, notes, selected gear, packed status, and worn gear settings
- App preferences, including language, theme, and default weight unit
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, or import data.
2. Photos and Camera
HikerKit may ask for access to your camera or photo library when you choose to add a photo to a gear item.
HikerKit may also request permission to save exported chart images to your Photos library.
The app does not access your photos unless you choose to use these features.
3. Data Export, Import, and Sharing
HikerKit provides user-controlled export and sharing features, including JSON, CSV, and chart image export.
When you export or share data, the exported file or image may contain the gear, trip, price, weight, notes, and photo information you have entered. You are responsible for choosing where to save or share exported content.
4. Purchases
HikerKit offers an optional in-app purchase, HikerKit Pro, through Apple. Pro unlocks unlimited trips. Other features, including charts, statistics, image export, JSON export, and CSV export, remain available without Pro.
Purchases are processed by Apple. HikerKit does not collect or store your payment card information.
5. Data Collection and Tracking
HikerKit does not sell your personal data.
HikerKit does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
HikerKit does not intentionally collect analytics data or transmit your gear and trip data to the developer.
6. Local Storage
Your app data is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage technologies. If you delete the app or reset your app data, locally stored data may be deleted.
If you manually export data, you are responsible for storing and protecting the exported files.
7. Children’s Privacy
HikerKit is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at the same location with a new effective date.

HikerKit 是一款徒步装备规划应用。本隐私政策说明本 App 会处理哪些信息，以及这些信息如何被使用。
1. 你提供的信息
HikerKit 可用于创建和管理：
- 装备信息，包括名称、分类、品牌、重量、数量、价格、备注和可选照片
- 行程信息，包括行程名称、日期、天数、备注、已选装备、装备核对状态和随身穿戴设置
- App 偏好设置，包括语言、主题和默认重量单位
除非你主动导出、分享或导入数据，上述信息会保存在你的设备本地。
2. 照片和相机
当你选择为装备添加照片时，HikerKit 可能会请求访问相机或相册。
当你选择将图表图片保存到相册时，HikerKit 可能会请求写入相册的权限。
除非你主动使用这些功能，App 不会访问你的照片。
3. 数据导出、导入和分享
HikerKit 提供由用户主动触发的导出和分享功能，包括 JSON、CSV 和图表图片导出。
当你导出或分享数据时，导出的文件或图片可能包含你输入的装备、行程、价格、重量、备注和照片信息。你需要自行决定将导出内容保存或分享给谁。
4. 购买
HikerKit 提供可选的 App 内购买项目 HikerKit Pro，并由 Apple 处理购买流程。Pro 仅用于解锁无限行程。图表、统计、图片导出、JSON 导出和 CSV 导出等功能不会因为未购买 Pro 而被限制。
购买由 Apple 处理。HikerKit 不会收集或保存你的银行卡等支付信息。
5. 数据收集和追踪
HikerKit 不会出售你的个人数据。
HikerKit 不使用第三方广告，也不进行跨 App 追踪。
HikerKit 不会有意收集分析数据，也不会主动将你的装备和行程数据传输给开发者。
6. 本地存储
你的 App 数据会使用 Apple 平台的本地存储技术保存在设备中。如果你删除 App 或重置 App 数据，本地保存的数据可能会被删除。
如果你手动导出数据，你需要自行妥善保存和保护导出的文件。
7. 儿童隐私
HikerKit 并非用于主动收集儿童个人信息。如果你认为儿童通过本 App 提供了个人信息，请联系我们。
8. 政策更新
我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。更新后的版本会发布在同一位置，并标注新的生效日期。
